So, what's the problem?
Users struggle with online eyewear shopping because they can’t accurately see how frames will fit or look, which lowers confidence and leads to constant second-guessing. Many abandon their carts, resulting in a disconnected shopping experience that frustrates users and reduces conversions, limiting business growth.
How did I solve it?
SightSync is an app that gives users precise, trustworthy eyewear guidance powered by advanced AR and helpful tools, including a PD scan, a virtual stylist bot, doctor appointments, and an intuitive lenses configurator, making online shopping seamless and reliable.
What was my process?
I began with research, including ethnographic studies and competitor analysis, to define the target audience and uncover key pain points. Using these insights, I structured the app with a content inventory and sitemap, then created a visual system with moodboards, colors, typography, and screens for Android and iOS. The interactive prototype was tested with users, iterating based on user feedback.
Challenges & Success
The project involved a large number of screens, so I had to carefully consider every interaction to keep the app intuitive. After the second round of usability testing, the completion rate reached 100%, and Task Ease (SEQ) improved from 4.2/5 to 4.7/5, showing that the app had become significantly easier and more enjoyable to use.
